ROSIE FOR AUTOGRAPH MAKE UP RANGE (GET READY TO SWOON!)
The Rosie For Autograph beauty range, is one of the prettiest make up collections that I have seen in a longtime. I mean, I shouldn't be too surprised seeing as it's the first make up collection from all round mega babe Rosie Huntington- Whiteley. Having just focused on underwear and nightwear for the past few years, her Autograph range has now expanded to a make up line.
I hadn't really heard too much about the collection before it arrived on my doorstep, then suddenly it was like 'bam' and it was all over Instagram. I mean, lets be honest, rose gold packaging? It was a sure fire way to get bloggers all heart eyed over the collection. Retailing at £10-28 the prices for the make up aren't hugely expensive, but just a little steeper than drugstore lines that we see in Boots and Superdrug.
So I have been very lucky to try a few bits from the collection and finally, because I have been meaning to write this post for about two months (tut tut) my thoughts on what I've got, and whether the products are just extremely pretty or whether they're actually pretty blooming amazing.
Let's start with my thoughts on the packaging, rose gold. Okay so I totally fell for all of the products, I was like that little kid from Despicable Me with the unicorn but instead I was like 'IT'S SO PRETTY I'M GOING TO DIE.'
The packaging is quite durable, it doesn't feel cheap, and of course has a rose gold exterior. The palettes and bronzers are quite big which means you are getting a pretty hefty product which is really good. I feel like the range has possibly been inspired by the Charlotte Tilbury range as some of the products feel quite similar. But it all seems very well made, and well if you're a sucker for rose gold, you are going to want everything.

I have a couple of favourites from the range, first is the eyeshadow palette. I have the shade Ballet Slipper which features a pale pink, creamy white, a purple mauve shade, and a dark grey/purple toned colour. Although these colours aren't really the shades that I would reach for and use on a daily basis, I found that the shadows were extremely buttery, creamy and pigmented. I sometimes find that eyeshadow in ranges like this can be quite sheer, but these were lovely. I have my eye on the 'I feel Like A Million Dollars' palette as that one looks much more up my street! At £18.00 they are quite pricey for a palette, but they are quite big as I mentioned above and are very pigmented.

My other fave is the lipstick Nude Mink. The lipsticks really remind me of the Charlotte Tilbury ones, I think it's the packaging. I think that the shade that I have (Nude Mink) is what I would have picked for myself from the collection, as it's something I would easily wear day to day. It's a light nude colour that is so easy to just throw on. It's quite creamy, and a very similar finish to the CT Nude Kate lipstick that I have. For £14.00, it's a lot cheaper, than the CT range. I am hoping that Rosie brings out some lip pencils to match!

I also have the bronzer which is £18.00. There's two bronzer shades and I have; Bronzed Beauty. It's quite dark, so be aware of this if you are ordering online. Although this did remind me of Nars Laguna in the pan, it didn't really live up to the same expectations. I just don't really get on with this bronzer, I find it moves my make up around if that makes sense? I mean it could be my skin as my skin isn't looking great right now thanks to some bad nights of sleep, but for £18.00, I would want it to be pretty perfect, so that's a shame. I'm intrigued to maybe try the contour stick as this looks really good, and I'm looking for a new one as my Kiko contour crayon isn't sold anymore, so it would be good to find an alternative!

I also have the concealer, which again I'm not a huge fan of. I usually like something very high coverage and for me it wasn't quite right. However I did like the shape and packaging of the concealer, as it would be extremely easy to use under the eyes. But for me, it needed to be creamier as it was a little too drying for my skin right now.
So my favourites from the range that I've tried are the eyeshadow palette and the lipstick. So they get a massive thumbs up from me! I also really want to try the Amazing Radiance Cream, as I hope it will give me skin as good as Rosie. Which it probably won't but hey it's worth a try right?
It's a very pretty make up collection, and there are a few stand out products, I would recommend going to Marks and having a good swatch yourself and deciding what you think. Like I said, the eyeshadows and lipsticks are marvellous, but just not sure on the concealer and bronzer. I'm excited to see what comes out next with the collection, and yes that radiance cream is on my wishlist for sure!
Have you tried anything from the range? What did you think?
